Karuna Reiki works at a deeper level than Usui Reiki alone — reaching into cellular memory, past life patterns, and the shadow material that standard Reiki may not fully access. It works particularly powerfully with trauma, grief, fear, and the wounds that have been held in the body for a long time.

The Karuna symbols carry specific healing intentions — some work with grounding and present-moment awareness, others with unconscious patterns, others with the nervous system’s deepest layers of held experience. Together they form a compassionate, penetrating system that honours the client’s whole history — not just what is visible on the surface.

Celestine White Emperor Reiki is the most esoteric and elevated of my four lineages — a rare and profound system that works at the furthest edges of what Reiki can be.

Your session takes place in the dedicated 369 Reiki room — a private, sacred space within my home in Bonnyrigg, Midlothian. From the moment you arrive, everything is designed to help you feel safe, held and completely at ease.

You will remain fully clothed throughout. Reiki is a hands-off or gentle hands-on therapy — always discussed with you beforehand and entirely tailored to your comfort. Nothing happens without your consent.

Before we begin I will take a little time to talk with you — to understand what you are carrying, what you are hoping for, and what your body and energy field most need in that moment. Every session is different because every person is different. There is no template here.

As the session begins you will be invited simply to close your eyes, breathe and receive. Most clients enter a deeply relaxed state within minutes — the theta brainwave state, where the body’s natural healing mechanisms are most active. It is in this space that Reiki does its most profound work.

I work intuitively across the chakra system and energy field, incorporating crystals and Solfeggio frequencies as guided. Four lineages inform every session — Usui, Karuna, Holy Fire and Celestine White Emperor Reiki — drawn on fluidly and instinctively according to what presents itself.
Your session concludes with a card interpretation — angel, tarot and chakra cards drawn and read intuitively, offering you a meaningful reflection of the energy we worked with together.

What to expect afterwards:

You may feel deeply relaxed, emotional, lighter or energised — often a combination. Drink plenty of water, rest if your body asks for it, and be gentle with yourself. Reiki is not limited by space or time. This is perhaps the most difficult concept for the logical mind to accept — and yet it is one of the most consistently reported experiences in energy healing practice.

Distance healing works because energy is not confined to the physical body or a physical room.

The same universal life force that flows through an in-person session flows just as freely across any distance — guided by intention, received by the body’s own intelligence, and completely undiminished by the miles between us.

You don’t need to do anything special to receive it. Most clients choose to lie down in a quiet space at the agreed time — though this is not essential. What matters is the intention to receive.

What clients experience during distance sessions is consistently similar to in-person healing — warmth, tingling, deep relaxation, emotional release, vivid imagery and a profound sense of peace. The field has no walls and no borders.
